  2. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Help for Selecting Number of Adapters ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  4. Use this window to select the number of Advanced Gravis Ultrasound Adapters 
  5. that you have installed in your system. The maximum number of Ultrasound 
  6. Adapters supported by MMPM/2 is one. 
  7.  
  8. If you select zero, then you will de-install all Ultrasound Adapters that have 
  9. been previously installed by MMPM/2.

  14. On this screen, you specify the values that you want to use with your Advanced 
  15. Gravis Ultrasound Adapter.  The values are described below.

  17. If you choose Close from the system menu, the selected values are set back to 
  18. the default values. 
  19.  
  20. Select Ok to save the selected values and continue. 
  21.  
  22. Board I/O Port Address 
  23.  
  24. This field allows you to select the I/O port address for the Advanced Gravis 
  25. Ultrasound you have installed in your system. Use the drop down box to set the 
  26. correct address for this card.

  28. The valid port address are: 
  29.  
  30. 210, 220, 230, 240, 250, and 260 
  31.  
  32. If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  33. install), it might be necessary to change the I/O port address. To change the 
  34. port address: 
  35.  
  36. Perform a selective installation and select the new I/O port address, 
  37.  
  38. or 
  39.  
  40. Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new port address (It is the value immediately 
  41. after the /B: on ULTRADD.SYS line of the CONFIG.SYS), and reboot.

  43. DMA Channel 
  44.  
  45. This field allows you to select the DMA channel for the Advanced Gravis 
  46. Ultrasound you have installed in your system. Use the drop down box to set the 
  47. correct DMA channel for this card. This DMA channel will be used for both 
  48. playback and record. 
  49.  
  50. The valid DMA Channels are: 
  51.  
  52. 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7 
  53.  
  54. If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  55. install), it might be necessary to change the DMA channel. To change the DMA 
  56. channel setting: 
  57.  
  58. Perform a selective installation and select the new DMA channel, 
  59.  
  60. or

  62. Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new DMA channel (It is the value immediately 
  63. after the /D: on ULTRADD.SYS line of the CONFIG.SYS), and reboot.

  65. Ultrasound Interrupt Level 
  66.  
  67. This field allows you to select the Ultrasound (GF1) interrupt level for the 
  68. Advance Gravis Ultrasound you have installed in your system. Use the drop down 
  69. box to set the correct interrupt level for this card.

  71. NOTE: If you have an Adaptec or compatible SCSI controller installed in your 
  72. computer, take special care in selecting a value which will not conflict with 
  73. it (it also defaults to 11).

  75. The valid interrupt levels are: 
  76.  
  77. 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 12, and 15 
  78.

  80. install), it might be necessary to change the interrupt level. To change the 
  81. interrupt level setting:

  83. Perform a selective installation and select the new interrupt level,

  90. MIDI Interrupt Level

  92. This field allows you to select the MIDI interrupt level for the Advance Gravis 
  93. Ultrasound you have installed in your system. Use the drop down box to set the 
  94. correct interrupt level for this card.

  96. The valid interrupt levels are:

  98. 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 12, and 15

  100. If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  101. install), it might be necessary to change the interrupt level. To change the 
  102. interrupt level setting:
